I'm a co-founder, writer, filmer and networker for PTDG. To me, green choices all get down to living more in tune with nature. That can mean what we eat, purchase, which businesses we support, how we treat natural resources and humans and animals, reducing/recycling/reusing, energy use, etc.
Being the exceptionally diverse hub of politics, nonprofits, media and action it is, DC has a unique opportunity to lead the way. The harder we work to change habits like our extraordinarily greedy appetite for coal the sooner our carbon footprint will shrink! Let's trade in the Hummers, steaks and waste for bikes, organic and vegan food, well-run recycling programs, and renewable energy like our lives depend on it! DC is bright and passionate - and up for the challenge.
